Patrick J Counihan

Pat is Strategic Consultant and Adviser to the NavAxxess team, leveraging his long term experience in health care to help clients achieve success. Pat has spent over 30 years in leadership roles in the health care industry, and over 20 of those years were in customer facing roles with repeated success in account management.

Prior to co-founding NavAxxess Pat spent most of his career with Merck, including experience in the pharmaceutical, vaccine and Medco PBM divisions. While his leadership roles covered manufacturing, sales and marketing, his true expertise is Managed Markets. Pat led account teams in key segments including health plans, PBM, Medicaid, employers. He helped develop and lead the organizations first teams in disease management, Medical Groups and Customer Centricity.

Pat holds a BS degree in Biology from Carnegie Mellon University and an MBA from Temple University.
